Brandywine Cemetery
(Northfield Township)
Ohio USA

Location: In a wooded area behind homes on Brandywine Rd, near Route 8.

Status: Destroyed for Interstate 271. No known records.


History: This very old cemetery was originally part of Boston Twp. In 1819 it became part of Northfield Twp. when Brandywine was annexed by that township. Some burials may have been moved to the Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery in the late 1890's or early 1900's. There are no known records for the cemetery; however, the following reading was done by Esther Weygandt Powell in July 1963 just before the cemetery was destroyed.
