History: Writings from Frank Green, Stow Cemetery sexton from 1924 to 1948, appear in Peggie Seitz James' Stow, Ohio: Shadows of Its Past. Green mentions two known family burial places in Stow, one of which being "on the Lappin place." Green writes that he thinks "this farm originally belonged to George Stewart and the burials are from that family."
